Job Description

Our client is a leading IT services and technology company that has been providing top-notch IT professionals to some of the world's best known companies throughout many verticals, including; retail, healthcare, financial services, manufacturing, technology, media, public sector and more.  Even though they have been in business for over 30 years, they are poised for even more growth, creating a need for an experienced Business Development Manager.  

In this role, you will be the lead point of contact for all customer accounts in the Columbus OH area.  You will be responsible for developing new business while also nurturing and growing sales with existing customers.  You will develop a "trusted advisor" relationship with all key accounts that will create strong, lasting client relationships.  Here is what we are looking for:
  • 3+ years in a similar business development role.
  • Successful experience calling into and setting meetings with C-level individuals especially in the Columbus area but beyond as well.  Current C-level relationships are of course a valued qualification.  
  • Successful experience presenting to C-level personnel, negotiating contracts and closing agreements.  
  • Someone who is comfortable with and successful at seeking out and closing new business, whether with new clients or existing ones. Someone not afraid to make the calls to close the business that acts with urgency.  
  • Direct experience at business development for IT managed services companies, but qualifications listed above in other industries will also be considered.
