Are you a lead carpenter ready to take the next step into a Superintendent role? Our construction client is seeking a hands-on Construction Framing Superintendent to direct projects all across the country. All applicants must be willing to travel.
Must Have:
  • High School diploma or GED required;
  • 3+ years of experience in construction;
  • Solid working knowledge of rough carpentry, framing, and general construction;
  • Supervisor and subcontractor experience;
  • Ability to travel for extended periods of time – usually 2-3 months on one project;
Key Responsibilities:
  • The Construction Framing Superintendent is responsible for monitoring progress for all self-performing work, subcontractor coordination, supervision, and job site safety;
  • Blue Print reading, layout and planning of the day-to-day work to perform specific carpentry or other related tasks;
  • Manage scheduling and coordination of subcontractors, labor and materials;
  • Daily review of “work in place” and compliance of work with plans;
  • Manage overall safety of the job site;
  • Maintaining daily paperwork such as time cards, field reports, etc.
