Director of Marketing Communications
 A fast-growing manufacturer of RFID and imaging technology used within the Medical Devices and Diagnostic Equipment market, is seeking a Director of Marketing Communications to lead the global marketing communications team and is responsible for world-wide marketing promotion of the company brand and other related activities. This position has ownership of the company’s lead generation strategies, messaging, corporate collateral, content generation, public relations, trade events, digital advertising, web/SEO, social marketing and product branding in the North America, EMEA and Asia-Pacific theaters. The Director will have the ability to develop guidelines for how corporate information is to be dispersed to customers, vendors and business partners. Candidate is required to stay current with market trends and research in the industry with knowledge of various industry segments, needs and requirements. Will interface with third party vendors, customers, business partners and media outlets to promote brand awareness in local and global markets.  Will supervise 2-3 direct reports.

Director of Marketing Communications Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute an annual global marketing communication plan with clear departmental goals and growth objectives.
    • Long-term 5 yr. planning will also be required
  • Create marketing communication budget in-line with company and corporate objectives using creative cost effective measures.
  • Develop and execute corporate marketing communication strategy for platforms in North America and leveraging these strategies for use in EMEA and APAC regions.
  • Responsible for the tracking, analysis and reporting of all marketing communication activities including lead gen, opportunity generation, email stats, trade shows, PR, digital advertising, social media, web/SEO, etc.
  • Has full ownership of the company website and all aspects pertaining to maintenance, updates, and day-to-day site performance.
  • Responsible for the development and execution of trade show strategies, including booth design/updates.
  • Manages all facets of internal and external Marcom activities and contractor arrangements.
  • Partner with local and international sales teams to execute targeted marketing programs aimed at generating net new leads and opportunities.
  • Ability to convey company branding and positioning both internally and externally to various OEM customers, industry partners, local and industry-based media outlets and other community groups.
  • Strong collaboration and communication with Sales, Engineering, Application Engineering and Executive management.
  • Create and present new branding and lead generation concepts to executive management team.
  • Able to multi-task on wide variety of projects utilizing strong organizational skills, strategic thinking and timeline deliverables.
  • Manage direct reports including: 2 Marketing Communication Managers and a Marketing Specialist
  • Moderate travel required - Approximately 30%. Will involve international travel, trade shows, customer visits, sales/partner events

Director of Marketing Communications Requirements:
  • 8-10+ years’ experience in professional marketing communication positions
  • 3-5 years’ experience coaching and leading marketing communication teams with direct supervision
  • Proven success developing and executing integrated business-to-business marketing campaigns; experience building campaigns targeted at OEMs preferred
  • Strong experience in marketing automation and CRM tools required
  • Disciplined project management skills to meet critical deadlines and deliverables
  • Ability to build strong relationships at all levels internally and externally
  • Excellent communicator – well-spoken with excellent writing skills
  • Experience with web strategies and/or backend tools
  • Experience working in WordPress or other web development platforms
  • Must be an independent self-starter with a sense of urgency and a strong desire to be part of building something new
  • Strong project management skills
  • Positive attitude, leadership qualities, and flexible team-oriented approach to working with others
  • Demonstrated ability to bring ideas to action
