Job Description

Our client is a division of a Fortune 100 company, offering innovative solutions to the Hospitality industry. The Hospitality Sales Representative will drive sales for a specific hospitality market segment in the assigned territory. The Hospitality Sales Representative will be the front line seller who drives sales, and identifies and generates business for specific mid-segment hospitality market customer accounts. The Hospitality Sales Representative will foster client satisfaction by maintaining regular customer contact and managing customer expectations. They  will develop customer relationships through attending trade shows, seminar, and similar events. The Hospitality Sales Representative  will increase sales by recommending the product line value proposition and product feature offerings to contractors, consultants ownership/management companies and existing customers. The Hospitality Sales Representative will  maintain, and provide reports and opportunity status using the customer relationship management system. They will provide competitive intelligence and market trends as well as provide forecast/demand input to Sales Inventory Operations Planning (SIOP).


Requirements for the Hospitality Sales Representative:
  • High school diploma a must, Bachelor's degree strongly preferred
  • 3+ years of outside sales experience selling to contractors, end-users, or consulting engineers
  • Prior hospitality industry experience strongly preferred
  • A working knowledge of sales principles and best practices
  • Good team and communication skills
  • An ability to take initiative and work with limited direction
  • Demonstrated ability to influence at varying levels across the organization
  • Ability to use experience to appropriately apply the established standards
  • Demonstrated ability to attain sales quotas/targets
