Unique opportunity to join an industry leader in the Healthcare industry as a vital member of their Strategy and Business Development team. The Principal, Strategy and Business Development, will focus on value-based healthcare and will analyze new markets, assess competitive landscapes, develop market-entry strategies, and work effectively in a cross-functional team to recommend new market opportunities. 

Responsibilities of the Principal, Strategy and Business Development:
  • Leadsgrowth initiatives to identify new markets and develop market entry strategies
  • Conducts quantitative and qualitative analyses of markets and products
  • Develops workplans, objectives and resource requirements to effectively deliver growth initiatives
  • Effectively manages cross-functional teams to deliver against project deliverable and timelines
  • Assesses potential acquisition and investment options, including sourcing, conducting preliminary commercial due diligence and developing financial deal models
  • Presents recommendations to senior executives  
Requirements for the Principal, Strategy and Business Development:
  • Bachelor's degree is required, MBA preferred
  • 5+ years of experience including minimum of 2 years of consulting, investment banking, private equity, venture capital or corporate strategy experience
  • 2 years of industry experience in the healthcare or med tech industry or demonstrated project experience in these industries
  • Previous exposure to M&A and working through a deal process
  • Strategic agility, structured thinking, and intellectual curiosity
  • Ability to deal with ambiguity and translate complex concepts into actionable insights
  • Collaborative approach, familiarity with matrix organizations and how to successfully work cross-functionally 
  • Passionate about shaping the future of value-based medicine within healthcare
  • Self-starter, comfortable taking initiative
  • Command of advanced functions and tools within Microsoft Excel and Powerpoint
  • Strong written and oral communication
