Job Description

The Process Control Engineer is responsible for managing and implementing process control and electrical power distribution projects to continually improve safety, productivity, cost and reliability. The PCE provides technical expertise and troubleshooting skills to support production activities and to resolve electrical and process control problems.
Additional responsibilities include:
  • Assesses the feasibility and soundness of proposed engineering tests/products/equipment.
  • Coordinates planning, organization and implementation of engineering projects within constraints of specific objectives and target dates specified by management. 
  • Interpret on a broad basis, principles, theories and concepts of process control engineering in order to solve problems and make design recommendations.
Minimum Required Qualifications:
  • B.S. in Electrical Engineering a must.
  • Minimum 3 years' directly related work experience with automated controls (PLC Contrologix) in a manufacturing environment.  
  • PLC programming experience a must.
  • Strong experience in project management plus proven analytical, communication and problem solving skills.
