Job Description

Our client is a manufacturer of unique low temperature sterilization equipment for Medical Devices and their is the only terminal sterilization method that is FDA cleared to sterilize multi-channeled flexible endoscopes (with a maximum of four channels) of up to 3.5 meters in length, such as certain colonoscopes, gastroscopes and duodenoscopes.

The Regional Sales Specialist role is a Mid-Level sales position that will be assigned a territory for the Company and will plan, direct and coordinate the selling of the Company’s products in that territory.  The Regional Sales Specialist may also work with independent sales representatives in the territory to sell the Company’s products.  The Regional Sales Specialist represents the Company as a leader in the industry and the marketplace by working with Surgery Centers, Operating Room Suites, Central Sterile Processing Departments, Endoscopy Clinics and GI Labs.
 
Responsibilities
  • Expand the sales of the Company’s products and convert competitive products in a manner that is commensurate with Company policy and sales direction.
  • Be a master in understanding the Company’s products and services.
  • Handle customer product questions and objections in a way that is consistent with sales training methodology.
  • The Regional Sales Specialist will be frontline facing.
  • Serve as the main point of contact for any issues with Sales Orders
  • Troubleshoot problem accounts
  • Work directly with Inside/Outside Sales and customers
  • Maintain and expand current accounts, build new accounts, develop strong customer relationships, and meet quotas for a variety of products.
  • Execute the selling cycle in a manner that is concise, professional, ethical and persuasive; and which leads the customer to purchase Company’s products.

Qualifications Preferred
  • This position requires a 4 year degree, and, a minimum of 3 years of outside sales experience
  • 3-5 years of sales experience in a medical device sales environment
  • Experience selling to surgeons in an operating room environment
  • Excellent connections with healthcare facilities in assigned territory
  • Candidates must possess a valid driver's license issued in the United States and must successfully complete a background investigation, to include a review of your driving record history.
  • Ability to travel 75%+
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills are essential.
