Job Description

The Senior Human Resources Business Partner is responsible for full cycle Human Resources support to the Field Sales Organization. This position is both a strategic and hands-on role that provides strategic consultation to sales leadership in aligning HR initiatives to business strategy and delivering operational support in the areas of employee relations, performance management, talent acquisition, talent management, employee engagement, communication, policy development/implementation, on-boarding, and employment law compliance. The Human Resources Business Partner will also support the Director of Human Resources with delivery of HR services to support corporate HR initiatives and projects.

Human Resources Manager (Senior) / HR Business Partner Duties/Responsibilities:

* Develops a business partner relationship with key sales leaders in support of their business objectives.

* Manages and resolves complex employee relations issues. Conducts effective, thorough and objective investigations and makes recommendations.

* Provides day-to-day performance management guidance to sales leadership (e.g. coaching, counseling, disciplinary actions, and career development).

* Maintains in-depth knowledge of legal requirements related to day-to-day management of employees, reducing legal risks and ensuring regulatory compliance.

* Manages and oversees recruiting efforts process, which includes, full life cycle recruitment, HRIS entries, and orientation. Partners with hiring managers to support the interview, selection, and offer process.

* Provides HR policy guidance and interpretation.

* Partners with leaders to lead talent reviews, succession planning, leadership development, organizational design, and workforce planning efforts.

* Works closely with management and employees to improve work relationships, build morale, and increase productivity.

* Conducts new employee orientation.

* Participates in development of department goals and objectives.

* Serves as back-up HR support to the Director, Human Resources with other business units.

* Other Duties as needed or required.

Human Resources Manager (Senior) / HR Business Partner Knowledge, Skill, and Abilities:

* Knowledge of Federal and State employment laws.

* Demonstrated ability to provide advice and coaching to leaders, peers, and employees.

* Ability to multi-task and prioritize daily workload.

* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and HRIS/ATS systems

* Demonstrated project management skills.

* Excellent written and oral communication skills.

* Strong interpersonal skills with ability to build constructive and effective relationships.

* Demonstrates ability to gather, manage and analyze complex data and issues.

Human Resources Manager (Senior) / HR Business Partner Education and Experience:

* Bachelor’s degree (Human Resources Management or related HR field) required.

* 5-7 years of progressive HR experience in a generalist, manager, or HR business partner capacity including resolving complex employee relations required.

* Proven leadership and consulting skills.

* Exposure to working with Human Resource Information Systems.

* Experience working in a fast paced, growth organization.

Human Resources Manager (Senior) / HR Business Partner Preferred Skills:

* Experience supporting a field sales organization or clients in multiple locations.

* Master’s degree in Human Resources Management.

* Professional Human Resources Certification (PHR) or Senior Professional Human Resources Certification (SPHR).

* Medical Device and/or Pharmaceutical experience.

* ADP Workforce Now experience.
