We are currently seeking a SOFTWARE DESIGN Engineer in Test for our client in  Seattle Washington. 

Job Summary:

Are you an SDET or Quality minded SDE who's up for a challenge? We’ve got a great opportunity for you! We're looking for SDETs who are hungry to build things from scratch and who can bring next generation test automation technologies into a fresh new space. We're looking to move fast; Our SDETs will implement test frameworks and pipelines, and then train up Dev teams in their care and maintenance so that continuous quality can be self-sustaining. We're looking to maintain confidence in quality; So SDETs will implement automatic data collection for use in live quality dashboards. Want a challenge where you can Think Big? As a member of our development team you should have industry leading technical abilities that enable you to significantly improve and measure test coverage, develop the best automation, drive testability and diagnostic ability into the product, while promoting best practices in quality areas.
  • You demonstrate breadth and depth of knowledge in the following disciplines:
  • You recognize and adopt best practices in software engineering: design, testing, version control, Documentation, build, and deployment ­­ all with an emphasis on software quality.
  • You have an in-depth understanding of formal software development processes and procedures.
  • You write high quality, maintainable, and robust code.
  • You solve problems at their root, stepping back to understand the broader context.
  • You develop pragmatic solutions. You build flexible/scalable systems without over engineering and choose simple, straightforward solutions over more complex ones.
  • Where existing solutions are known, you use them.
  • You understand a broad range of data structures and algorithms.
  • You recognize and use design patterns to implement solutions.
  • You understand basic software testing techniques, such as equivalence class partitioning, boundary value testing, domain analysis testing, orthogonal arrays, etc.
